GliderYUMMIES! is actually homemade sugar glider food supplements and treats. This all started in the year 2006, the time when I first became a sugar glider owner. My friend and I were having problems. Firstly, we realise that we lack the proper ingredients for a sugar glider mix. The ingredients used overseas are different from what we get in Malaysia. With research, opinions and also a vet’s approval on nutrition, we improvised after going through months of trial and error, giving out free samples and experimenting with different joeys. Finally, we achieve our end product.

A product that has been successful since year 2006, with over 400 containers already sold. GliderSLURP is a nutritious food supplement that has all the essential vitamins and minerals needed by your sugar glider.
Naturally, a sugar glider likes sweet foods but giving them loads of honey can make them sick. In the wild, gliders would have a diet of sweet tree sap and lots of insects. Of course we as pet owners try to give the best to our pets but just giving them a diet of a few fruits alone will not make your glider healthy in the long run. A Sugar Glider needs protein, fiber and carbo to grow healthy. One needs to give a variety of fruits, insects and blossoms.
The foods sold here are SUPPLEMENTS, you still need to offer some fresh fruit daily and 5 to 6 mealworms. Frest fruit and insects provide the vitamins and protein that are highly needed for a glider. Not to say my glider food do not have vitamins and calcium, it does but it is best to give something fresh for your glider daily.
The ingredients used in my line of food do not contain any artificial flavouring, colouring or processed sugar. All sweetness and colour are natural. All ingredients used are human grade.

Ingredients:
Pure fruit juice, pureed fruits, oat bran, rolled oats, wheat germ, flaxseed, 4 kinds of cereal, high fiber meal, protein meal, Atlantic kelp meal, apple fiber, carrots, peas, spinach, potato**natural fruit preserves, yogurt, whole eggs, pure chicken meat, vitamin and mineral supplements, calcium.
** natural fruit preserves with no preservatives or added sugar is used, only in certain mixes.
How to Serve and Store:
The consistency is that of very thick yogurt. GliderSLURP! has to be stored in the freezer to keep fresh (where you keep your frozen meats and ice cream). To serve, simply take the container out to thaw for 15 minutes, then use a metal spoon to scrape the food into your glider’s bowl. Uneaten food should be discarded.
Another way is to defrost the whole container into an ice cube tray. Spoon 1 teaspoon makes 1 cube. Freeze and just take out a cube to serve.
This food can spoil if it is not kept in the freezer for it contains yogurt, eggs, raw wheat germ, fruit and meat.

Hi! Haha I know what you mean, after a while my glider smells like a tupai! You can bathe them, but you need two people cos don’t forget, gliders can’t swim! Just use a gentle shampoo or soap for hamsters, rub it on him, and then rinse. It’s better if you fill up the sink with warm water first. Be careful of his ears and eyes!
He’s stinky cos he’s a male. Male gliders have scent glands, don’t forget! Only bathe him once every two weeks. Make sure you dry him well or he might catch a cold! If he doesn’t mind you can use a hairdryer. I hope that was helpful! (:

Yes you can. When it is frozen, just wrap up in a few layers of news paper, and you carry it in a cooler bag. It can last for 8 hours and still frozen.

GliderSlurp is a food supplement just like HPW, only it is made with fresh cooked chicken, fruits, different grains and cereals. When you feed GliderSlurp, you do not need to feed HPW. Just feed along with fruits and you will have a balance diet for your glider.
