Besides selling sugar glider joeys, I also offer services. I do know that some people have to go overseas or out station sometimes, so they would need to find a temporary fosterer or boarding for their gliders. It would also give sugar glider owners have a peace of mind when their pets are cared for by someone with experience.

I have five 3ft cages for those with more than 2 gliders, and 1.5ft cages for those with only 1 glider.

Each cage has a water bottle, food bowl and natural ropes for the gliders to climb.

Food: GliderSLURP, fruits, veggies and mealworms.

Requirements:

Gliders do need to feel comfortable during boarding, so it is required for you to bring their bonding pouch, sleeping pouch and also a shirt that you have worn for more than a day. It needs to have your scent so that they would not feel too uncomfortable when you are away.

Charges: My charges are based on the number of gliders being boarded and also the amount of days. So please email crazymouse.yoong@gmail.com for more information.

      Hi

I just sold a 2 month old male this morning.

Anyway, I may have some later but it really depends on my gliders as I do not overbreed them. Will update the website if got any for sale.

Why you want me to take care of it? If I take care of it, he won’t bond to you but will see me as the owner and not you. First, you must understand that a glider is not a domestic animal. They are somewhat born with an instinct to be afraid of things that they see as predators. So you have to gain a glider’s trust. Even at 2 months old, a joey already has that instinct and also will try its best to scare you away with crabbing and biting. Gaining their trust is the only way to stop this. Independent gliders and joeys will always crab and fight off things that they see as predators. Never trust pet shops, that’s your mistake there. You have already bought him, so you must take responsibility of him. 10 to 15years…..

You have to be patient. You must gain his trust. Read up on bonding. It doesn’t just happen instantly. It can take anytime from a few weeks to a few months. You just have to be patient and consistant.

hey… urm.. i was wondering.. i’ve been having my sg for about two weeks and he sometimes makes this crabbing sound when i’m around, and even tried to attack me… i’ve been bitten more than twice FYI… is this normal?? what should i do?? i’m really worried…

    • 27 naimah
      March 18, 2011 at 8:25 am

yea… it is normal since the suggie still did not know you. my advice if your suggie bit you, don’t pull away your finger. If you did pull away, your suggie will think that by biting you, you will go away.

Another thing don’t put your hand in the pouch since suggie normally pouch protective. If you want to transfer them from sleeping pouch to bonding pouch just use a squeezing motion like squeezing a toothpaste.

Have you try reading all the post in this blog? This blog has a very comprehensive information on taking good care of suggie.

    Hi!

I am still new in handling glider. I just bought a new male glider-age-2months at Ikano Power Center. Somehow, I know that to have gliders, at least it must be a pair. But I can’t afford to buy the 2nd one which it cost about RM300++ here.

I live in Sri Hartamas. I am so happy if you have a glider age around 1-2 month, and I would like to buy from you with a reasonable price. Is it possible if my budget is under RM200.

Hope you can help me, and I found that this site is very helpful and I’m glad that i found it. You’ve been helping so much. Do contact me if you have any news, will you?

You can email me at cikaja@gmail.com

    Thank you in advance :’)

There are many types of fruits that can be givem. Please look up in my blog on diet and fruits, I have listed it before. Noise? Gliders make many kind of noises, from crabbing to hissing to barking. So which one? And yes, you can feed rambutan but do stop feeding bread. It is not good. Please get a supplement diet like GliderSLURP or HPW for proper nutrition.
